Re: Mosrite Balladere I, Model 401

Wayne...Great video...fun to watch! Totally agree. There's another guitar out there for you to sniff out. Makes you wonder who's closet (or attic) it's in.

Re: Mosrite Balladere I, Model 401

It's a good thought, but the picture of Glen sitting on the tracks, if correct by Getty, is Jan 1, which would precede the summer show.
That song was on the WL album, which shows to have been released in November.

Re: Mosrite Balladere I, Model 401

Wayne, Thank you. To my knowledge, Mosrite did not produce an acoustic 12 during that period. Glen had a couple of electric 12's from Mosrite, but I don't recall seeing him with an acoustic 12. The possibility always exists that Semie crafted a Mosrite 12 neck and put it on another guitar or maybe G...

Re: Quotes About Glen's Guitar Playing

P.F. Sloan nailed Glen. Other than becoming a top notch artist, Glen probably stayed true to that description all through his career. Pretty cool summary.

Re: Glen's History with Ovation Guitars

After scuttling the American side of Ovation earlier last year, FMIC (Fender) packaged up Ovation with Kaman Percussion and sold it to DW (Drum Workshop) yesterday. Who knows what they will do with it. They do not have the channels for guitar sales. They are not in the guitar business. They could re...

Amarillo Civic Center Opens with Glen!

When the I40 was cut through Amarillo, downtown Amarillo expreienced a lot of urban renewal. Part of that was the construction of a Civic Center, which still hosts concerts, car shows, hockey and many civic events. I was thumbing through this site and was surprised to see this: GC Civic Center.jpg
