Re: Jerry Reed Inducted into CMA Hall of Fame
So very sad that it takes so long to honor someone that deserves it. None of his accomplishments have changed since he passed away. They certainly could have presented it to him prior to his passing. http://www.savingcountrymusic.com/jerry-reed-announced-as-2017-veterans-inductee-to-the-country-musi...

Jerry Reed Inducted into CMA Hall of Fame
Son! Jerry finally gets a little bit of the overdue recognition he deserves. He was a tremendous talent, not only on the guitar but vocally and wrote so many beautiful songs. God bless you Jerry and congratulations! jerry reed.jpg https://youtu.be/9Hs1c1xPg7Q?t=11m From the Nashville Tennessean Jerr...

Re: Would Glen have supported Pres. Donald Trump?
I recall reading an article where Bill Clinton stopped and chatted with Glen in his backyard, while playing a round of golf. I also recall an article where Kim would not allow politics to be talked about at the supper table.

Yes, It is still on Netflix here. I wish Netflix gave stats on how many rentals it has seen.

Re: Glen Campbell's Martin D-18
From the pictures that I have seen, my guess is that the guitar was worn in those area's before Glen got it.

Look what showed up at the Ovation Factory this week
It appears that the Campbell family sent Glens Bluebird 12 string (one of them) in to be cleaned up. The good folks at the factory were kind enough to share some pictures. This Bluebird is going to be very close to the one owned, which once belonged to Glen, by Wayne Reid. bb1.jpg bb2.jpg bb3.jpg bb...

Re: 1968 Ovation Glen Campbell 12 String
Wayne Reid passed this picture along this evening.
Another picture that was taken when Glen played for President Nixon. Glen is playing his proto 68 Ovation 12 String. Wayne's proto 1624 (X014) is sitting behind him (you can read about it here )

Re: Glen Campbell & Capitol Records 75th Anniversary
I bet that cover was shot along with the series of pictures from the train yard.
They got a lot of mileage out of that shoot.

Re: Summer seems far away
Mike, the graveyard scene is shot at the same location. It appears that a lot of props were moved in and then moved out, as none of the fencing, or out buildings are on that hill...nor are there any signs of their deterioration. I did see a couple of old horse drawn wagons that had deteriorated to t...

Re: Campbell and Dylan - Blowin' in the Wind
Glen must have really appreciated Jerrys approach...because with Anne Murray you can hear several of Jerrys licks. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gUFmceGugaA You can tell that he stayed true to playing it in that manner through 2013 Glen also barred more on the GH, and thumbed over later...although...
