Band Perry talks about their Grammy nod.

“We’ll be thinking of Glen and his family for sure (on Sunday night),” said the band’s singer Kimberly Perry on the red carpet before the MusiCares Person of the Year event on Friday night.
Plus an article about the Grammy for Best Song Written for Visual Media.

WHAT WILL WIN: If anything is going to upset "Let It Go," it's Glen Campbell's "I'm Not Gonna Miss You."

Hooray, the Grammy list! Thanks for the Huffington Post link, Randy!

Thanks, too, for highlighting Glen, Julian, The Band Perry--and especially John Hartford who wrote "Gentle On My Mind".

I am seconding your cheer:
So, lets get em , Glen, Julian, and The Band Perry !!!--Randy

Here's the supposed complete list of performers for the Grammy's, and although no mention of any Glen / supported performances, I don't feel terrible about it, sad, but not mad I guess you could say.

Glen and Julian are nominated for "Country song of the year" which I am grateful to see. And of course, I will be pulling for the Band Perry also on "Gentle" as I consider that a great Glen Campbell tribute in it's own rite and a John Hartford tribute also.

So, lets get em , Glen, Julian, and The Band Perry !!!

Let's not forget that Band Perry's version of Gentle is nominated for a Grammy too. This article says that they should and will win.

Thanks for this post!
So, Tim McGraw is performing Glen's song at both the Grammys and the Academy Awards?
Or, did you mean the Academy Awards?

I would like to hear George Strait sing it, Shelia. I won't be there in person on Sunday, of course. I'll be home using my state-of-the-art recording equipment: a 20-year-old television and a 15-year-old VCR recorder with VHS tape. lol

siblis, thanks for the heads up on the red carpet information!

On the Grammy site, they will be streaming coverage beginning at 3:00 pm Eastern Time! See: http://www.grammy.com/live" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Do the celebs really start to arrive that early in the afternoon?

Thanks everyone!
Dee
