Or maybe "You'll Never Walk Alone" is also from "Love Is The Answer". I see it is on both "My Hits and Love Songs" and "Love is The Answer".

Sorry for my late reply but... interesting that they replaced the fourth disc (originally with live performances) with tracks from the most recent albums.

1. You'll Never Walk Alone (My Hits and Love Songs)
2. People Get Ready (Love is the Answer)
3. Amazing Grace (Love is the Answer)
4. Lean On Me (Love is the Answer)
5. Times Like These (Meet Glen Campbell)
6. These Days (Meet Glen Campbell)
7. Good Riddance (Time Of Your Life) (Meet Glen Campbell)
8. Ghost On The Canvas (Ghost on the Canvas)
9. Waiting On The Comin' Of My Lord (See You There)
10. I'm Not Gonna Miss You (I'll Be Me Soundtrack)
11. Everybody's Talkin' (Adios)
12. It Won't Bring Her Back (Adios)
13. Adiós (Adios)

What strikes me as a bit odd it the amount of tracks from Love is the Answer which surely is not Glen's best album. Ghost on the Canvas on the other hand is summarized with 1 track only, whereas that is one of the better albums Glen did. Where for instance is "A Better Place"? Or "In My Arms"? Still, I like the fact they made this boxset complete, containing at least some tracks from his last albums.

Arlw,
LOL..."why you ask" How did you know?

Uhm, that is terrible and not a good pr move. Those guys have done a couple of things that, to me, are disappointing. I would assume that the Amazon reseller is either the same reseller or distributor that GC.com is using on a passthrough.

Thanks! I would certainly be interested in what they offer for the lithograph

Just a curiosity of mine...Can you tell if that archtop (f hole guitar) on one of the album pictures is the same as the one that Glen has on:

Jay,
Thanks--I knew about the track listings. I like how they re-did the CD's--they are all different from before as far as design and the newer tracks. One note to remember--I pre-ordered mine from the GC Website-only to find out that they cancelled my order the same day I bought it--why you ask???

When that bundle came out last year and they didn't deliver their products, I had to call the credit card people to get involved to see where the order was! Well, they didn't like that and according to the email I received today, they have me on their "black list" so they will not deal with me anymore!! Well my take is--it's a company and you advertise items for sale-you either deliver them or not--their loss/my gain!!

Just in case people have the same problem--good info to know! I will pass on the lithograph and really a terrible way to do business especially when it's Glen!

Amazon has the same set/same price!

Glen Campbell <info@us.umusic-online.com

Received this email on Friday---this came out in 2002--I have the 4CD Boxed Set. It is slightly different track wise on the Number 4 Disc as it goes to 2017! It is a PRE-ORDER ITEM. Not bad for 39.99!!

Glen Campbell's career is being celebrated with Glen Campbell – The Legacy [1961-2017], an updated and expanded edition of his long-out-of-print career-spanning box set originally released in 2003.

This lavish 4CD anthology, due June 21, collects 78 beloved songs that beautifully tell the Rhinestone Cowboy’s remarkable sonic story, beginning with his earliest songs, traveling through his indelible classic hits—"Gentle On My Mind," "By The Time I Get To Phoenix," "Galveston," "Wichita Lineman," "Rhinestone Cowboy," "Southern Nights," and much more.

Pre-order today from the Glen Campbell store to receive an exclusive lithograph with your purchase.

I am still waiting for either piano/guitar chords for Jeff Dayton's "Long Slow Train Out of Town"

I also need the words and chords to his other track called "Fall Back in Love."

If anyone could assist, I would really appreciate this. These songs are from Jeff Dayton's Tribute CD to Glen called, "The Glen Connection." Fabulous CD and very talented man...

Box Set Celebrates Bobbie Gentry, ‘The Girl From Chickasaw County’
Published on July 27, 2018
Previously-unreleased recordings with Bobbie Gentry & Glen Campbell Included!

The first major retrospective box set commemorating the enduring legacy of Bobbie Gentry will be released by Universal Music on 21 September.
EXCERPT FROM OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE:
BOBBIE GENTRY ‘THE GIRL FROM CHICKASAW COUNTY’ CAREER DEFINING DELUXE 8 DISC BOX SET FEATURING 7 REMASTERED STUDIO ALBUMS AND A WEALTH OF RARITIES INCLUDES 75 UNRELEASED RECORDINGS AND NEVER BEFORE ISSUED LIVE TRACKS TAKEN FROM HER BBC TV SERIES

Released by UMC on 21 September 2018

It’s September 1967 and sitting in the UK charts alongside the Small Faces ‘Itchycoo Park’, the Rolling Stones ‘We Love You’, and Traffic’s ‘Hole In My Shoe’ was an extraordinary single called ‘Ode To Billie Joe’ sung by its author Bobbie Gentry. An unconventional, beguiling song with sparse production, and no discernible chorus, Gentry’s style of story-telling was very different to the self-confessional song writing of other emerging female singers. It introduced the world to an artist who not only knocked Sgt Pepper off the top of the US Album charts, but who was also one of the first female musicians who wrote, produced and even published her own music.

Bobbie broke new ground by producing her elaborate stage shows via her own production company, and was the first female singer songwriter to be afforded her own BBC TV series; she became one of the most iconic and influential artists of the 1960s & 70s, only to disappear from the public eye completely, never to return.

On September 21st 2018 UMC releases the first major retrospective of this most enigmatic artist. The Girl From Chickasaw County is an 8CD box set that includes all seven of Gentry’s studio albums sensitively remastered from the original tapes, supplemented by over 75 previously unreleased recordings including her ‘lost’ jazz album, outtakes, demos, rarities and an 8th disc of live performances taken from her celebrated series for the BBC. The release has specially commissioned cover art by David Downton and includes an 84-page book with a comprehensive essay, rare and unseen photos, 8 postcards and a facsimile of her original handwritten lyrics for ‘Ode to Billie Joe’.

EXCERPT #2 FROM THE OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE: Disc 4 Bobbie Gentry & Glen Campbell
One of Bobbie’s most commercially successful releases saw her team up with fellow country star Glen Campbell for an album of duets that included her ‘Mornin Glory’, a hit on the country and easy listening charts. The pair also deliver winning interpretations of Margo Guryan’s ‘Sunday Mornin’, ‘Scarborough Fair’ and the Everly Brothers hit ‘Let It Be Me’. All are represented in previously unreleased alternate versions. The disc is rounded off with 'Love Took My Heart and Mashed That Sucker Flat’ Bobbie’s little known duet with friend and producer Kelly Gordon, and some foreign language singles including a Japanese ‘Fool On The Hill’ and Spanish ‘I’ll Never Fall In Love Again’- all appearing on cd for the first time.

An album preview article written by Paul Sexton is available at:
 https://www.udiscovermusic.com/news/box ... aw-county/

The complete track list is listed below. (Bobbie & Glen's tracks are on Disc 4.) Additional updates will be posted about Bobbie Gentry's set as related to Glen Campbell, of course.

Note: If anyone is interested in purchasing the box set, the label offers two online shopping options now: amazon/U.K. and uDiscoverMusic.com. If you are ordering inside the States, then the second option is currently less expensive, a difference of approximately $20.

Update: This new album release is now tentatively slated for November 2, 2018 (instead of early October).

'Glen Sings For The King' - by Glen Campbell

CD / Label UMe

Label's Description:
In 1965, Glen Campbell was part of the infamous "Wrecking Crew," recording sessions for the era's biggest pop songs, touring with the Beach Boys, and recording his own albums. He was signed to Capitol Records and only two years away from his breakthrough single, "Gentle On My Mind." By night, Campbell was cutting full studio-quality demos for Ben Weisman, the legendary songwriter who wrote 57 songs that were recorded by Elvis Presley - the most Elvis recorded by one songwriter.

Campbell had the uncanny knack to sing in the same key as Elvis, and so between 1965-1967 he recorded numerous Weisman songs to send to Elvis. 18 of these previously unreleased recordings have been recovered and restored, and will be released together on a new collection, Sings For The King. Elvis went on to record 12 of the 18 songs himself, but we are now able to hear Campbell's versions for the first time ever. The collection highlights Campbell's incredible vocal range and guitar skills, and also draws focus to Weisman's understanding of all the styles of music Elvis could perform.

We call on Him
Whenever storm clouds gather
We call on Him to light our darkest day
Why must it be that only when we're lonely
And hopes are dim, we call on Him

Why don't we call on Him before we lose our way
To count our blessings and thank Him while we may

We call on Him when no-one else will answer
We ask of Him a reason to go on
When our cup of joy becomes a cup of sorrow
Filled to the brim, we call on Him

Why don't we call on Him before we lose our way
To count our blessings and thank Him while we may
