He says "Burt Reynolds" alright. The only connection I can think of is "Another Fine Mess" from Burt's movie "The End". That clip looks about from that time (1978).

Yes it might have been even embarrassing for him. In fact in an interview from around 2001 he admitted regretting doing the book. He didn't like the way his cowriter wrore the book, said he used words and sentences he would have never used himself. And, all those intimate questions about the book really embarrassed him.

Managed to watch this video this evening. As you say Cowpoke, Glen isn't given an easy ride here. I feel Glen wanted to get all this off his chest and put it all behind him, so that he could move on with his rebirth so to speak. I think he found it helped him put some demons to bed for him. I must say it took a lot of courage to be so honest in front of a crowd.
