The new of Glen's last song and the documentary has also reached Europe.

This dutch newspaper talks about how the song brilliantly describes the irony of his disease.

As a result of this worldwide attention, the number of views of the official video,

has skyrocketed to 1.8 million in just a few days.

The TakeAway provides a brief review of "I'm Not Gonna Miss You"

(Note: The TakeAway later posted a correction regarding the songwriter of "Gentle On My Mind"--John Hartford, not Glen Campbell.)

Big Machine Records label to release a preview of the "I'll Be Me" soundtrack on an EP

http://www.bigmachinelabelgroup.com/sto ... r-recorded" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

From this article: “I’m Not Gonna Miss You” was written by Campbell and Julian Raymond specifically for a new documentary titled GLEN CAMPBELL: I’LL BE ME.
Produced by Raymond, the song was recorded in the Los Angeles-based Sunset Sound Factory and East West Recording Studios. The song will be released on September 30 to all digital retailers.

With a mere handful of piano chords, then a swell of harmonies, “I’m Not Gonna Miss You” opens into the poignant, yet clear-eyed revelation of the things Alzheimer’s steals. Almost lumbering through the melody, Campbell’s weathered tenor confesses the painful truths of what is lost, the cost – and the reality that it will all be lost to him, the man who can’t remember. Pedal steel weeps, strings bathe the melody that rises against drums and an electric guitar that mirrors the unbreakable passage of life and time.

The EP will include the following tracks:
1. I'm Not Gonna Miss You
2. Gentle On My Mind (performed by The Band Perry)
3. Home Again (performed by Ashley Campbell)
4. Wichita Lineman (Live from Ryman Auditorium)
5. A Better Place (Live from Ryman Auditorium)

Forum friend Dee Zink talked to Julian Raymond after the premiere! How cool is that!

Julian said he actually wrote 3 songs for Glen, which were recorded more than a year ago. "I'm Not Gonna Miss You", "Long Walk Home" and a third song. They are on the soundtrack album, planned for release around Christmas of this year.

Can't wait to hear them!
