Cowpoke,
I think we were blessed that Glen came to the UK on a regular basis. I am not sure a great deal of American artists did tours or specials like Glen. Glen loved doing concerts in Europe and once said he found the audiences were very appreciative of his shows. Of course Glen, always gave a great show!

I'm looking for a copy of the Glen Campbell in Concert in Sioux Falls and I find it is bid up to $499 on Ebay which begs the question: Why has it not been re-released. I strongly suggest a re-mastering and a Bluray release similar to what was done with Roy Orbison's concert from 1977. Would anyone else like to see that? The sound is so full that a remaster and a re-cut of the video could really make a Bluray worthwhile.

Hi robduloc. Thank you so much for letting me know about the "Royal Festival Hall" concert in a 2-disc edition, available on Amazon. I particularly wanted the dvd edition. Because I think it's a hundred times better, to be able to watch Glen's personal performance on this masterpiece of a show. I do have it on vinyl. So the dvd was my great wish to get. And guess what? I struck luck, when attending this fabulous forum. I was so blessed to get in contact with another member in here, who kindly helped me to achieve getting this exact edition I wanted so bad. This concert, is probably the best Glen has ever done. The show from the beginning till the end, is thrilling and awesome. But thank you just the same, for your kind reply to my question robduloc. Elusive Butterfly~

The cheapest and most convenient way to purchase the Glen Campbell 1977 Live At The Royal Festival Hall 2 disc album is at the amzon.com MP3 Store for 8 dollars.

As a record collector, I seriously question when a vintage album shows up at the amazon.com MP3 Store, because I think they use their filters to block any remaining vinyl versions so the customer has no other choice.

Glen Campbell Big Bad Rock Guitar is a good example, or maybe it really comes down to there are certain albums that are so rare, few and far between, the demand is so high, there is no other alternative but authorize and sell an MP3 Edition.

Really?

It is nice to know there is a VHS Tape of Glen Campbell Live At The Royal Festival Hall in addition to the original vinyl 2 disc album.
