Thanks Dee for posting that interview with James Keach. Many interesting quotes there. For example, James implicitly gives an explanation why the movie didn't get nominated for an Oscar. He talks about the "narrative movie branch" where he is coming from and the "documentary branch" and that you have to be in the right club to get nominated. I think he's right. He also admits that millions of dollars were spent on the movie and they will probably not be earned back, but it was a movie that had to be made.

And here's a recent interview with Kim Campbell and James Keach. The movie is now showing in Wisconsin.

Cowpoke, I was just about to post this review from Buffalo News; glad you posted it.
It's one of the best reviews I have read because of the details it shares.

How about that line:

Someone forgot to tell Campbell’s fingers that he has Alzheimer’s. With his daughter Ashley on banjo, he plays a blistering guitar solo on “Dueling Banjos,” one of the film’s highlights.

Anyway, for those fans who haven't seen I'll Be Me, this review should be an excellent read--and very, very touching for all who have seen it, too.
