Re: I'll Be Me
Thanks for your comments on the interview with James Keach, Cowpoke. I haven't had opportunity to listen to it, but definitely will do so.
This is a decent review but the reviewer provides the wrong song title for Glen's last song.

Re: I'll Be Me
Some great remarks about Glen's Oscar nominated song...
Thanks Dee for posting that interview with James Keach. Many interesting quotes there. For example, James implicitly gives an explanation why the movie didn't get nominated for an Oscar. He talks about the "narrative movie branch" where he is coming from and the "documentary branch" and that you have to be in the right club to get nominated. I think he's right. He also admits that millions of dollars were spent on the movie and they will probably not be earned back, but it was a movie that had to be made.
And here's a recent interview with Kim Campbell and James Keach. The movie is now showing in Wisconsin.
Glen Campbell’s I’m Not Gonna Miss You is the much touted favourite which has already taken home the Grammy for best country song.

Interview with Kim Campbell and Julian Raymond about the Grammy nominations, Glen's condition, the song I'm Not Gonna Miss You.
Includes some footage of Julian and Glen rehearsing the song I had not seen before.

Yes Dee, it's a great review. And I am so glad... I posted it before you (just kidding!).
This is a very interesting interview with Ashley Campbell in 2 parts:

Re: I'll Be Me
Cowpoke, I was just about to post this review from Buffalo News; glad you posted it.
It's one of the best reviews I have read because of the details it shares.
How about that line:

Anyway, for those fans who haven't seen I'll Be Me, this review should be an excellent read--and very, very touching for all who have seen it, too.Someone forgot to tell Campbell’s fingers that he has Alzheimer’s. With his daughter Ashley on banjo, he plays a blistering guitar solo on “Dueling Banjos,” one of the film’s highlights.

Interview with Shannon and Ashley Campbell on the Pat and Tom (radio) Show. You gotta hear their story about Bill Clinton peering into their backyard!
