Whoever told you that you were an "old soul", Cowpoke?

Here's a very different write-up about I'll Be Me from Josh Board, film reviewer, who prior to seeing this doc only knew three Glen Campbell songs and didn't know Glen was in True Grit and The Beach Boys. After seeing this doc, he gives it a heartfelt review.

Furthermore, he also shares:
As a critic said to me at a meeting the other day, “I can’t name a single song of his (Glen's), and I loved this documentary.”
I think these positive reactions from critics bode well for a Critics' Choice Award!

Also, check out Josh' comparison of Roger Ebert's recent documentary and I'll Be Me.

Well, i already liked Glen when I was in my teens, but some say I'm an old soul :)

The movie's playing in Michigan now.

What a good idea to spread the release of the movie over several months, state by state. That way they get maximum exposure over a long period of time.

Here's an honest review of someone who was mostly saddened by the movie.

Very impressive review, Cowpoke.
Has The Boss ever spoke truer words?

What do you all think about this line from this author's review?

"It takes getting older to appreciate Glen Campbell...."

If this was already posted, please remove. But I had not read this impressive review yet.

Now i've read for the first time Bruce Springsteen's praising words about Glen. True words.

Cowpoke I like how Skip references The moon's a harsh mistress in this review. That tells me he has some experience of Glen's music. I know it has been said before but it is probably true when I was younger I used to be non committal about what I liked in music as I felt what I enjoyed was not cool in others eyes. Now I just let everyone know what I like and what I don't. I now appreciate we are all different, so why worry.
