This is well done! I love how the lead guitar is so complementary, rather than driving. The initial lead lick is a subtle nod to the original. They come out playing the historically bass part on the upper treble, but then the second time around, he plays it on the bass side.
The vocalist, especially in the bridge, has a little bit of a Chris Issac feeling.
For up tempo, this very clean and easy to listen to.
I found him mentioning it in an interview:
The Lemonheads released a double A-sided single in 1997, Balancing Act/Galveston (a Glen Campbell cover). Campbell’s struggle with Alzheimer’s is captured in his recent documentary Glen Campbell: I’ll Be Me. Has Dando seen it yet? “No. I love him, though,” he praises. “I’ll tell you this: my dad had a phase where he looked just like Glen Campbell and I can send you the picture to prove [it]... Okay, Glen Campbell. So I should see that movie?” After telling Dando Campbell released the final song he’ll ever record, I’m Not Gonna Miss You, panic sets in: “Oh, [...]. Is he dead? Is he alive?” Once
Dando has been reassured that Campbell hasn’t passed, we discuss dementia: “Old timer disease? Yeah, you know. It’s something that happens to all of us. Eventually.”

The Lemonheads (alternative rock) did an awesome cover of Galveston, great instrumentals & guitar at ending.

This lady has such an excellent voice. Here's a 4K version of Make Believe. 3rd. line, she goes to a soft spoken talk. Sounds, guitar solo, instrumentals everything is mind blowing.

Pretty cool clip with Johnny Cash, Understand Your Man:
Mike, interesting guitars, and then we get to the song...
Johnny playing a Martin D35-S instead of his black D35 and Glen playing that cheap Mosrite Richmond Dobro looking thing. But, if I wanted either one today...it would cost me about 3,500.
Understand Your Man has always sounded like a direct knock-off of Dylan's 'Don't Think Twice.' However, upon closer examination, it seems that Bob and Johnny may have drawn inspiration from an earlier folk singer. But Cash's certainly sounds like Dylan's.

So many versions of It's only make believe, one of my faves, especially the one listed below in 1965.
But I really love this cut on Glen's voice & music is so changed up on Ralph Emery/Gaither tv show.
