JUST GOT THESE-IF YOU HAVEN'T ADDED THEM TO YOUR NEEDED LIST-MIGHT WANT TO AS GLEN IS ON ALL OF THESE!!

Have a Good Time/Have a Good Time– Glenco Productions- BILLY GRAHAM, 1974 release. This is a white 45 rpm that is on the Promotional Capitol Label P-3909. One side is Stereo (S45-90767) and one side is in Mono (PRO-6909). This song is sung by Billy C. This Moonglow label is white with black lettering. This recording is arranged and conducted by Jack Nitzsche. The record is in great shape. Time frame wise would be about the early 60’s on this recording. The side Glen Campbell is on is “Try To Find Another Man” The Righteous Brothers wrote that track.

Glen Campbell played studio session work on an album called “The Peanut Butter Conspiracy is Spreading” produced by Gary Usher. It's available on a CD. This recording is brand new and sealed and is a CD format! Contains 2 Classic Albums on one compact disc, plus 3 bonus tracks! This was originally released on Columbia Records # 9454 back in 1967. This is the only time that Glen appeared with this group doing studio work.

Hey Cowpoke,
This must be a rare LP as the dealer couldn't locate this one either! So refunded the $ and will just add it back to the needed list!

November 1964, Glen did two sessions for this album: The Virginian by Randy Boone and Roberta Shore (Decca, DL 4619). Found another LP on ebay for 11.00 plus postage so I grabbed it--it beats 50.00 plus postage and they are identical-both are on the DECCA Label, and they both have the same # too! Can't wait for it's arrival--and it's NOT COMING!!!

Someone asked me if this was my bucket list!! I wish it was, then I would have them all. But, in a way, I am glad it's not--that way I keep finding more material with Glen Campbell on them/producing them/writing the title!

For some reason the Blossoms 45 that I am looking for is a bloody fortune! Coming from Belgium is great but then you have to tack on another 10.00 to ship it here so then the price is 45.00! I am sure it will be somewhere else just as the other LP was!

Interesting Glen Material:just located/bought! These have been on my needed list for over 35 years!

Have a Good Time – Glenco Productions- BILLY GRAHAM, 1974 release.

Glen playing session work on this 45- "Try To Find Another Man" by the Righteous Brothers.

Glen played on an album called “The Peanut Butter Conspiracy is Spreading” produced by Gary Usher. It's available on a CD. I am getting the CD and booklet will be included.

Glen plays lead guitar on this single, the first release by April Stevens and Nino Tempo- “Sweet and Lovely” released on ATCO Records- 6224. As mentioned before on this thread, Glen was also present on their big hit "Deep Purple" (soaring to #1 in the fall of 1963).

November 1964, Glen did two sessions for this album: The Virginian by Randy Boone and Roberta Shore (Decca, DL 4619). THIS ONE IS AVAILABLE TO BUY BUT FOR 50.00 I PASSED!!!

September 1966, Glen Campbell did a session resulting in a 45 called "Tiny Bubbles" (flipside: "Hawaii"), on Decca 32041, by Ed Kenney. In November 1966 he recorded another 4 songs which, together with the 2 previous songs ended up on the album “Ed Kenney's Hawaii” on (Decca DL74877). FOUND THIS 45 AND LP!

“Music To Turn You On” -April 1967, Glen led a session for Pete Fountain, a clarinet player who played many a solo on...The 5 songs that were recorded (The Eyes Of Love, Casino Royale, Tiger Rag, Somethin' Stupid, Music To Watch Girls By) ended up on this album.

"Wishing Well"-2085 Capitol Records — Wanda Jackson and the Party Timers-Written by Bill Graham.B/W "By The Time YOU Get To Phoenix"-. Studio work by Glen! This 45 also was released as a PROMO but the tracks/numbers are identical!

The Blossoms--Challenge 9138, "The Search is Over"/"Big Talking Jim".
Recording date at the session is 1/16/62. Glen Campbell on guitar.--PASSED ON THIS 45 AS IT'S A PROMO AND THEY WANT 35.00!

I am grateful that I will be able to cross off 8 records from my needed list!!! Just in case you didn't know about these-this is all part of Glen's session work days! A lot of time/research went into this. Still have 13 more on my list but eventually I will find them!

Cowpoke-this showed up today!!!

September 1967, Glen did a session for a band called "City Zu", resulting in a 45 called, “Give a Little Bit / I'll Find Another” on Columbia Records # 44342. Interesting about this release is that the song “Give a Little Bit” was written by Glen Campbell and Jerry Fuller, who was also the arranger. Glen also plays guitar in this recording and the one bought is a PROMO with the white label, still on Columbia Records. White label and red lettering.

This 45 record is a Radio Station Copy/Not For Sale and on the Glen Campbell side it is written by Columbia Records as the “Suggested Side”! (JZSP-118576). The Publisher is Four Star Music, Company (BMI). The flip side track was written by Jerry Fuller only, but the interesting thing about this is they wanted the “Suggested Side” to be more of the so called airplay tune. Great DJ copy and in excellent condition. Housed in the original Columbia sleeve and this came from Great Britain even though it’s not an imported record. The “Suggested Side” is “Give A Little Bit” which is the Glen Campbell/Jerry Fuller side. This is a rare 45 and being that this is a PROMOTIONAL record, makes it even a rarer find. The original release is on the Red colored Columbia Label.

If you ever find one-my suggestion is to BUY IT!!

It's a wonderful find Arlw, especially since Glen also played on that single (confirmed by AFM Los Angeles).

Cowpoke,
I am getting this CITY ZU 45, a promotional dj copy so I am thrilled that I was able to obtain this one! At least I will beable to cross this one off my needed list! It has been shipped and actually coming from the UK. It is very hard to cross items off a needed list as you never really come across them at all. I love having the vinyl especially where Glen Campbell was the writer/co-writer! What a neat find.

THE TRUTH IS NOT REAL / YOU KNOW YOU FOUND A WAY – SAGITTARIUS. This is a promotional 45 on the Columbia white colored label. 4-44503 (JZSP-135931). This is a RADIO STATION COPY AND IS NOT FOR RESALE. The song, The Truth Is Not Real was written, arranged and produced by Gary Usher. The Publisher is Blackwood Music Inc. (BMI) The song, You Know You Found A Way Was Written by C. Boettcher and L. Mallory. Arranged by Gary Usher and Curt Boettcher, Produced by Gary Usher. The Publisher is Fifth World Music (BMI) (JZSP-135930). It is printed on this side-“SUGGESTED SIDE.” The 45 record is near mint condition, looks like it’s never even been played. This was released on April 15, 1968. Glen Campbell is on this record playing studio guitar work. These songs are from the LP “PRESENT TENSE” Glen Campbell was on that album too and was credited also. Almost all of the 45’s from that album were released as a single of which Glen Campbell played studio guitar on.

My World Fell Down/My World Fell Down - Sagittarius. NOT FOR RESALE, THIS IS A RADIO STATION COPY. It is on the white Columbia promotional label. 4-44163 (JZSP-117399). The release date is 1967. Sagittarius was a group mainly composed of Gary Usher and Curt Boettcher, and on this track featured Beach Boy Bruce Johnston and also Glen Campbell. This is the ALTERNATE 45 version of the song featuring a different mix than the album version - this is a great 60's psych-pop song. Both sides of this song are in stereo. White label with red lettering. This 45 is arranged and produced by Gary Usher. It is printed and made in the U.S. A. This is a rare version of this record to find.

Here you go Cowpoke!
