Randy, your words "required viewing" had given me an for a new topic....I will set it up soon....don't let me forget.
(A topic for perhaps the 10 or more required viewings for Glen Campbell fans as well as those music listeners who wish to Meet Glen Campbell.)
I appreciate your thank you for both "the lyrics and the words," but really, it's the songwriter, Clive Gregson, who deserves kudos for allowing us to share the lyrics here with his kind permission, and I will touch base with him again to share our posts and gratitude and congratulations for the official video's win of a Remi. (I read up on those Remi Awards and they are a big deal across the entertainment industry!)
He was deeply touched by our interest and is a genuine Glen Campbell fan. Glen is blessed by those artists in the industry (and there are many!) who have always looked up to him and want to express their gratitude to Glen in the best way that they can...artistically, musically.

Back when I was on the fire dept. we use to get some video material that was "required viewing". The song "Glen Campbell" by the group Any Trouble should be required viewing for any GC fan. It's that good! And it's not just the second verse where he sings about Glen and Witchita Lineman but it's the whole song. Even though I almost have the song memorized , I really appreciate you sending me the lyrics Dee and of course "the words too"

The tribute song "Glen Campbell " by Any Trouble and directed by Nigel Dick won a platinum Remi Award at Houstonfest this year!

Thanks for putting up this clip, Randy. Not all fans may be aware that Glen appears on this Johnny Cash album.
Perhaps Glen's new manager at TKO will find other such album appearances (unreleased).

Yes I have it on the list of guest appearances on Glen's discography wikipedia page. But thanks nonetheless Randy, I appreciate it very much that you keep tracks of these things!

Regarding the third party video that I had shared below from YouTube--"Malibu Sunset - The Boys unreleased recorded in 1963 with Glen Campbell on lead"--, arlw contacted me to share that Glen Campbell is not on this recording, it is not Glen singing the lead vocal.

Reporter and fan, Billy Watkins, asks whatever happened to Bobbie Gentry? He has been trying to make contact with her for years, but to no avail....

It is not for lack of effort on my part. I have been chasing Bobbie Gentry for years, more than any person I’ve chased in my newspaper career. I reached her brother via email. He said to write her an email, send it to him and he would make sure she got it. I did, and I believe he did his part. But I never heard from Bobbie Gentry.

I’m not alone in my search for her. Gentry had two hits with Glen Campbell: “All I Have to Do Is Dream,” which reached No. 6 on the country chart, and “Let It Be Me,” which made it to No. 4 on the Adult Contemporary chart.

When I called Campbell’s management team a decade or so ago, I was told: “We haven’t heard from her in years and have no idea where she is. If you find her, please tell her to call us. We would love to talk to her.”
