I am having a "junior moment"! Could you help refresh my memory about the video or photo of Jeff Dayton and guitar in New York with something written on it?
Thanks!
Dee

Dee, Great link, Jeff is just a super nice guy, and great entertainer in his own right. Love what he's doing. Also, since I don't do twitter, (I see he has a twitter account) maybe you or Cowpoke could contact him and say hi from us and ask him about what was written on his guitar in New York. No big deal of course, just a curiosity thing.

Jeff Dayton's Salute to Glen Campbell - Live at Sound Bites Grill in Sedona, Arizona
Jeff Dayton Band
Performance held on March 5th, 2016
Jeff and band perform "the song with no chorus", and Jeff talks about working with Glen Campbell for 15 years.
(Poster for this tribute show was posted below.)
What is the link to Glen Campbell? Well it was John Rook who insisted Glen and Bobbie Gentry recorded "All I Have To Do Is Dream" resulting in yet another hit for the duo.

Great version of Wichita Dee. As you mentioned before there does seem a upturn of Glen Campbell covers of late.
I guess Glen has been very much in n the public eye lately and this seems to have switched a light bulb on with many people re introducing themselves to the talent of Glen.
Like Chad Killebrew' report which you posted earlier, it seems Glen has touched a lot of people with his spirit in facing Alzheimer's and has won a renewed respect for his body of work in music.
It seems Glen has always been around, full of life and doing what he has always done, but now many people have woken up to the fact Glen is mortal like the rest of us, and it has now dawned on many we will be losing a great artist that many probably took for granted for decades. There is nothing more precious than that, which we lose.

Hear Restless Heart's Shimmering Tribute to Glen Campbell
Vocal group puts their spin on Campbell's "Wichita Lineman," composed by Jimmy Webb
Rolling Stone (Country)
By Stephen L. Betts
February 26, 2016
Rolling Stone on the net announced a new cover of Glen Campbell's signature song "Wichita Lineman" (Jimmy Webb) performed by the vocal group Restless Heart. Not only are all of the group members big fans of Glen's, the group was given the recommendation to record a Webb song by Glen Campbell himself -- 30+ years ago! All good things come in due time, and we love seeing that our Wichita Lineman, the Legendary Glen Campbell, continues to influence today's artists!
