@Cowpoke, does this look accurate. I was actually trying to find Glen's performance video of Phoenix on that show and couldn't find it which is upsetting. The one where is is sitting on the stage steps.

Thanks, Randy. I can only remember a scene in the doc from the Grammy's that took place in an elevator with Glen, Kim, and Paul McCartney.
I need to listen to Band Perry's version from 2012 and compare it to tonight's....now I'm really curious to compare the two performances of GOMM.
Didn't know that the band and also the parents are fans!
Totally agree...it seemed to me too that Kimberly meant no respect by the way she sang "memory" -- she put emphasis on this word for a good reason, I believe.
Yes! The great Loretta Lynn.
Where were Merle, Willie, Dolly, and Kris K. (just to name a few)?

Dee, I think in the doc it shows rehearsing at the Grammies only if I remember correctly and that disappointed me.
In regards to Kimberly Perry, although I much preferred their grammy performance of gentle (which I thought was awesome as was Blake Shelton's southern nights) compared to tonite's version ,,,, I read so much of their love and respect for Glen not only from them but remember she said her mom and dad were just elated when they got to meet Glen and them doing that grammy show,,,,, that I definitely think it was a tribute and nothing bad intended with the long pronunciation of memory...
No way do I think that....
BTW that was really the only reason I watched the show.
And yes great to see Loretta Lynn,,,, the great Loretta Lynn

I just managed to catch the tribute to Glen Campbell by the Band Perry at 8:45pm (ET) on the CMA Awards.
If you saw it, too, what did you think of it? Was a video or image of Glen shown? (If so, then I missed it.)
Did It seem to you that Kimberly Perry purposefully emphasized the word "memory" when she sang it? "...the back roads by the rivers of my mem-or-y".
(Loretta Lynn looked and sounded great tonight, didn't she?)
A little late, here is Kimberly Perry's pre-show take on how they had planned to perform "Gentle".
