Hi, Arlw,

Thank so much for asking about the whereabouts of the session list that you had created and shared with us. It is on one of the pages under this topic and it's definitely worth repeating again. (There was a part two; would you like for it to be re-posted, too? If so, just let me know.)

Arlw, the list is in here but as you can see below, this topic is already 23 pages long as Dee put in some hard work to move this topic to the new forum in its entirety. If you have it near you, please post the list again if you want. It's fascinating information. Thanks!

PS: BTW, in the Archives forum on glencampbellforums.com you can also find a complete backup of the old forum made in August of this year. So, not much information was lost!

Dee,
Did we lose all of Glen's session works by the artists? I have the list at this end and can post it. It is basically Glen's Session Days with all the artists that he recorded with from the late 50's on.....

Wonderful interview with Bill Medley who recently wrote an autobiography. It wouldn't surprise me if Glen gets a few mentions in the book too. Either as studio musician, solo artist or friend. Bill names Glen as an example of what a great singer is in this particular interview.

And here's an interesting blog about the two different versions of Help Me Rhonda / Help Me Ronda recorded by The Beach Boys. I believe Glen played on this song, but now I wonder on which version!

Country Legends – When They Were Rising Stars – This is an imported DVD Video that was made in Portugal. IMM-940043. It is a 2004 release. NTSC Region 0 which means it is region free. It is formatted in color and contains Glen Campbell, The Dillards, Waylon Jennings, and Kenny Price. The total playing time is approx. 53 minutes. This DVD contains Extra Features such as Extensive Artist Biographies. The DVD is brand new so it is in mint condition. It's a fantastic DVD of 1967 footage of Glen on the Melody Ranch Show. He plays his red "Hey Little One" guitar as well as an early Mosrite Electric that you all have seen in a few Glen pictures. Glen also plays the banjo on one track called “Cripple Creek.” With 8 Glen performances, rare from '67, it's well worth the price. Plus it has the Dillards, Waylon, and early, Pre-Hee - Haw Kenny Price. It was also a surprise to see Cathie Taylor with Glen. All that to say that if you have a new or recent DVD player, you should be able to play this disc with no problem. It is region free for ALL DVD Players as it is USA Compatible! It is also a Full Screen Video. These are considered rare DVD’s coming from another Country. It was really nice to see Glen Campbell perform “White Lightning” and “Good Old Mountain Dew” on here! This is a great DVD for any Glen Collector. The quality of this recorded DVD is terrific, and if I had to rate this I would give it a 10!

Glen does 8 tracks on here:
Gentle on My Mind
Phoenix
Cripple Creek
Satisfied Mind
Burning Bridges
White Lightening
Good Ole Mountain Dew
Only The Lonely

Thanks - when I was writing that info, it dawned on me that there was also a US group by the same name! And that is The Darts with the Hollywood Drag--I have that recording and Glen is absolutely on that. Sorry about the other info. Sometimes it just doesn't click! That Hollywood Drag is a GREAT album!
