Hi Dee,
Sorry I missed your reply. I think it was further down the screen so I hadn't spotted the post.
You are quite right Mrs Columbo. Its actually the picture of Glen that was used on his Basic album. My mistake. I hope I won't be banned from the forum for such a bad error.
The photo used on Debby's book would be from the same time period I would think. I remember when I was part of the UK fan club I was sent a copy of that picture. I imagine it was used for publicity purposes at the time.
Thanks for confirming it for me Dee.

I had missed this series of insightful videos about "I'll Be Me" and the making of the film posted by the International Documentary Association...here is the playlist link of all of their videos including some videos related to the film / EP.

"It's a fine dance to tell the story," says James Keach.

I am amazed over and over about how long James Keach worked on this film and is still working on this film. I think he has realized that this documentary is greater than the sum of its parts, it has the potential to effect change in order to obtain funding to find a cure for Alz's. Affecting people's perspectives and initiating change is one of the best outcomes of art, I believe.

I hope the fans do go out to support this film, Mike. It's too bad that the distribution for this independent film is limited.

Good question about Leno. In 2005, after Glen's DUI arrest, he commented about Jay Leno:

"I saw Jay Leno and he was talking about it (the DUI). I thought Jay was a better friend than that. I wouldn't have done that to him. I wouldn't do that to anyone. They do it because we are in the public eye. I guess it's more interesting. But I thought, I wouldn't do that to anyone."

Does anyone know if Glen later appeared on Leno's show -- before his September 2011 appearance when Glen was promoting See You There and the Goodbye Tour?

Thanks, Mike.

Its great to see the support the film is getting from the press and radio etc. I just hope that the general public will go and see the film. It will be a great way for Glen to bring his career to a close with this and his final single charting.
I was reading Glen's biography earlier and I noticed Glen wasn't very happy with Jay Leno who was "kicking him when he was down" during the eighties. Glen I think was very hurt by him at the time, so I am surprised to see Jay offering his support in this film. Were they reconciled at some point?

(Siblis -- thank you so much for finding these special film clips! One is the official doc video. The second is Glen performing at the Ryman when he was on the tour. The third video is also from the film -- Glen being diagnosed / treated at the Mayo Clinic. These last two videos are representative of the film -- in how it addresses Alzheimer's disease and also shows Glen performing in concert. -- Dee)

Glen Campbell’s Musical Legacy and Alzheimer’s Disease Chronicled in New Film, "Glen Campbell: I’ll Be Me"

"Glen’s wife, Kim Campbell, hopes I’ll Be Me introduces Glen’s music and legacy to an entirely new generation of fans.
She says, 'A lot of people aren’t even aware that he’s one of the greatest guitar players that ever lived, and that he’s played on so many hits before — as part of the Wrecking Crew — before he was ever a solo artist himself. He maybe didn’t get the credit that he deserved for so many years. Now, I hope that this film will help people really understand how great of an artist he was.'”
