Glen Campbell film called touching, uplifting (special screening at the Mayo Clinic)
"The film was shown to more than 4,500 people in Nashville and has, so far, earned a perfect score of a 100 on the film critic website Rotten Tomatoes."

“Glen Campbell: I’ll be Me” is a gift, to its celebrated subject, who gets a final keepsake, and to its audience, which gets a ticket to our shared past and an insight into our shared future.

IDA (International Documentary Association) Nominations: Doc Community Gets Behind 'Citizenfour,' 'Finding Vivian Maier' (Analysis)
Will "I'll Be Me" be snubbed by the IDA? If so, is this a good sign of awards to come?

Re: I'll Be Me
Wow, great finds, Cowpoke.
A non-profit I'll Be Me Foundation now exists!
I found James Keach' letter very moving when he shared that the making of I'll Be Me changed his life purpose.
Most documentary film makers set out to make a film that will change the world in some way.
In this case, the making of this film has changed the film maker (and hopefully the film's viewers, too).
The Foundation has strong support already from the Mayo Clinic, LeadingAge, and the other partners identified on this .org website.
Great audio interview! Now, I really hope that we learn more directly from Julian Raymond about why he thought Glen's story had potential for a documentary film. Did he give interviews with regard to the making of Meet Glen Campbell and Ghost on the Canvas?

This is another very interesting radio interview with James Keach in which he , amongst other things, details how Glen made clear he wanted this movie to be made, even though Glen was losing his memory.
It also makes clear how Julian Raymond, who was producing James Keach' 15 year old son in 2011, played his roll in getting this movie off the ground.

Re: I'll Be Me
Thanks for the Twitter link, Cowpoke! I found a vid link on Twitter that I had not seen before -- an interview with Kim Campbell.
Siblis, that is a powerful quote from the Huffington Post.
Thank you so much for all of your posts...there is so much press on this film that I haven't been able to keep up with it on my own.
(I try to copy each of the reviews to save....just like I did for the Goodbye Tour concert reviews.)
