On the upside, one of country music's biggest new talents and stars, Kacey Musgraves, is releasing her second album in June this year.

Musgraves added that she is inspired by traditional country, her upcoming album being no exception. Her sophomore record was inspired by Glen Campbell and the humor of Roger Miller.

Are there any new influences that weren’t part of the last album?
Glen Campbell was a massive sonic influence for this, as well as Ronnie Milsap, and this certain era of country that just has a really good groove. I drew from the country music that inspires me most: the ’60s and ’70s.

These are enlightening articles, I believe, about Alzheimer's disease. Thanks to Glen and his family, there is now more public awareness of this horrible disease and the lessons learned from it and what we yet need to learn and accomplish in order to avoid a major, widespread health crisis in the very near future. These issues are an important part of Glen's legacy now. With this part of Glen's legacy in mind, I will be focusing my time on another platform that will be dedicated to this subject matter.

True Grit Café in Ridgway, Colorado, USA?

I have eaten there several times. Not the best breakfast in town...but a good choice, if you are going to eat in Ridgway, for lunch or supper. There are quite a few artifacts left from the movie in that area that are accessable by car. There is no prettier place to be found around the first of October, give or take a week. I will be in that area for sure during that time and will make sure to get a shot of Matties homestead for the board. You have to trespass to catch it in the frame that opens the movie...but even being locked up in Telluride for a week wouldnt be bad...
