Regarding John Ashley, I think there could be a little mix-up. Eddie Cochran recorded "Little Lou" himself in 1958 and was closely associated with John Ashley. However, Ashley's version of Little Lou does not use the same backing as Eddie's version. Also, Tapio Vaisanen, one of the experts when it comes to Eddie Cochran (and a lot of other artists too I might add) does not think it's Eddie on Ashley's Little Lou.

Comments: I don't think that Eddie is on any of these. 5003 is much bootlegged and
has appeared on many Cochran bootlegs too, even under Eddie Cochran's name like
the singer could be him. It's not!

Here's an interview with the writer of Little Lou, Eddie Daniels. He and Glen were collegues when they both worked for American Music as songwriters
in the early sixties. He has a nice story to tell about Glen too.
